Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces) for commercial viability
- Develop go-to-market strategies for futuristic products with $10M+ revenue potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating R&D, engineering, and business units
- Present strategic technology briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring adoption rates and ROI for future-tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or innovation roles
- Proven track record launching products with quantum/AI components
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, CHIPS Act)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend analysis
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or national lab ecosystems
