Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, focusing on quantum applications, biotech integration, and climate-tech solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and designers to prototype future-facing products
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and government innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and innovation proposals to C-suite executives and investors
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Manage R&D budget allocation for future technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech, or neuro-interfaces
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with global impact
- Strong understanding of emerging tech patent landscapes and regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of published research or patented innovations
