Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology landscape assessments
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in scaling tech-driven businesses
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- Experience with agile development methodologies and lean innovation
- Strong financial modeling and business case development skills
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Security clearance preferred for federal partnership opportunities
