Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough concepts
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation portfolio allocation across quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in identifying and scaling emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, or neuromorphic systems
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant STEM field or equivalent experience
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong network within global tech ecosystems and research communities
