Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum AI, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and business teams
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups and academic research for strategic partnerships
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build industry consortiums to accelerate adoption of next-gen standards
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or venture capital with focus on emerging tech
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Strong network with leading research institutions and startups
- Experience building technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Excellent communication skills for executive and technical audiences
