Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technologies across quantum, AI, biotech, and energy sectors
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging tech with business objectives
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term company vision
- Manage cross-functional prototyping sprints for next-gen solutions
- Present findings to stakeholders via executive briefings and white papers
- Build and mentor an innovation lab team of 5-7 specialists
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or startup experience
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$10M annually
- Strong network with venture capital and academic communities
