Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market trends and business goals
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology landscape assessments
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech into commercial offerings
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build and lead a future-focused incubation lab for prototype development
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting 2026+ roadmap
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
