Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging tech applications (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Analyze global tech ecosystems to identify acquisition targets, partnership opportunities, and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed ROI projections
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technology scouts
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline success and track technology adoption curves
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, corporate innovation, or emerging technologies leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies in enterprise environments
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Assessment preferred
