Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Monitor competitor tech portfolios and regulatory landscapes
- Define KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record identifying and scaling emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major conferences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in emerging tech (e.g., Google AI, AWS Quantum) preferred
