Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology forecasting
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation grants or venture capital
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes (US/EU/Asia)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized future-tech implementations
