Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, Web3, biotech) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market readiness
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation projects from ideation to prototype development with 18-24 month horizons
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption timelines
- Manage innovation budget allocation and ROI analysis for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Strong financial acumen with experience in innovation budgeting and ROI modeling
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CIMP) preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or future trends
