Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with disruptive potential
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market forecasts
- Conduct competitive intelligence assessments and scenario planning for future market landscapes
- Champion cross-functional innovation initiatives bridging R&D, product development, and commercial teams
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and sustainable innovation practices
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders with data-backed recommendations
- Build and lead a dedicated Future Technologies incubation team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or emerging technologies leadership
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., generative AI, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, CFP) or equivalent training
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
