Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps focusing on 2026+ capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders including government bodies
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor partnerships for cutting-edge R&D
- Author thought leadership publications on technological ethics and societal impact
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products in quantum/AI/space tech
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (neurotech, fusion energy, etc.)
- Experience with technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network in global tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight
- Published work on technology ethics or innovation strategy
