Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps integrating AI, blockchain, and quantum computing
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI metrics
- Build cross-functional coalitions to drive organizational change initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 7+ years strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $3M+ budgets
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Strategy (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology implementations
