Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology strategy by analyzing emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future solutions
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies protecting breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive leadership and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative R&D
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory landscapes to anticipate technology adoption barriers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years at Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Proven track record of launching category-defining technologies (AI/quantum/biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD or MBA strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Experience managing $100M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent tier publications
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java) and quantum computing frameworks
