- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, Web4)
- Architect ethical AI frameworks and quantum security protocols
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with ROI projections
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships
- Mentor technical teams on future-proof architecture principles
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives to $100M+ revenue
- Deep expertise in emerging tech regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US Quantum Act)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or Systems Dynamics
- Experience with patent portfolio development (15+ granted patents)
