Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business units
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic acquisition/partnerships
- Develop patent portfolios and IP protection strategies for novel innovations
- Present futuristic technology frameworks to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation
- Ensure compliance with evolving global tech regulations and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with $100M+ impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and academic institutions
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTe)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and R&D partnerships
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
