Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and organizational goals
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, biotech convergence, decentralized systems)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate technological foresight into enterprise strategy
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential acquisition/partnerships
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on future adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech areas (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting preferred
- Experience scaling innovation in Fortune 500 or unicorn environments
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech transformation projects
