Responsibilities
- Design and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global R&D centers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $10M+ annual R&D budget for experimental initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech ethics and adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
- Proven track record launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or tech publications
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TF) or Strategic Foresight (SF)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
