As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and industry disruptors to pioneer solutions for tomorrow's challenges. This hybrid position offers flexibility while requiring on-site collaboration at our state-of-the-art San Francisco hub.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation gaps and prioritize R&D investments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups for technology scouting
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed impact models
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., CFTe, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy publications
