Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Identify emerging tech disruptions through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI deployment and automation
- Secure $2M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Mentor emerging tech talent through our FutureTech Accelerator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier academic journals
- Experience with federal grant applications and IP strategy
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research institutions
