Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmap by analyzing emerging trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, environmental, and technological disruptions
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into development lifecycles
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futurism (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, Delphi 2.0)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with complex datasets
