Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies
- Analyze industry disruptors and competitive landscapes to identify strategic advantages
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for innovation pipelines
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for experimental projects with 2026 commercialization targets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI/ML, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CTO Academy)
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for experimental projects
