Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI/quantum solutions
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets for strategic innovation initiatives
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab and similar institutions
- Manage patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 experience
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Published research in AI or quantum computing (top-tier conferences)
- Track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Deep understanding of Web4.0 and metaverse infrastructure
- Executive-level stakeholder management across global teams
- Security clearance for classified research partnerships
