Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology adoption roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead ideation sessions on quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and government innovation boards
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for prototyping futuristic technologies
- Author white papers on tech ethics and societal impact of emerging innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and academic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar on emerging tech
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, Horizon scanning)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ tech innovations reaching market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- PhD or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
