Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight roadmap, identifying disruptive trends across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget for moonshot projects and emerging technology experimentation
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms to scout breakthrough innovations
- Create frameworks for ethical technology adoption and responsible innovation governance
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global futurism conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of successfully launching emerging technology initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex future scenarios into stakeholder narratives
- Certification in futures studies (e.g., CFtp) or advanced degree in technology/innovation preferred
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation portfolios
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, WIRED)
