- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams
- Produce annual Future State reports with predictive market analysis and strategic recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for emerging tech validation
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through industry publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario analyses or technology impact assessments
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives across global organizations
- Professional certification in foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
