Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies, market trends, and socio-economic shifts through 2026+
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in rapidly evolving markets
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future insights into innovation roadmaps and development cycles
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author compelling thought leadership content that positions Horizon Dynamics as a future-focused leader
- Advise on organizational adaptation strategies for workforce transformation and operational evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills combined with creative problem-solving abilities
