Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum computing and neurotech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design ethical innovation governance protocols for AI and synthetic biology applications
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders incubation program
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through strategic stakeholder partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation or strategic foresight at Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging tech (Harvard Business Review/MIT Sloan review)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, weak signal analysis)
- Proven track record of launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R) for data-driven foresight
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, nanotech, AGI)
- Strong network within DARPA, Singularity University, or similar innovation ecosystems
