Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps by synthesizing global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and socio-cultural evolutions
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients, quantifying market impacts of emerging technologies
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Briefs' on disruptive innovations (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions with 5-year implementation horizons
- Present strategic frameworks at global innovation summits and board-level stakeholder forums
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and strategic foresight tools
- Drive cross-venture innovation sprints with Silicon Valley's premier tech incubators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (whitepapers, journals)
- Fluency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
