Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for high-impact business decisions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Produce executive-grade trend reports and strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of trend analysis translating to commercial impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, system dynamics, and technology forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
