Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, regulatory shifts, and socio-economic indicators to identify strategic opportunities through 2026
- Develop and present actionable foresight reports to guide product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-oriented thinking into organizational DNA
- Build and maintain a network of industry experts, academics, and thought leaders
- Create scenario-based strategic plans for market expansion and competitive positioning
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging methodologies like exponential technology assessment
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, corporate foresight, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or innovation methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented strategies
