Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 18-36 month trend forecasts across tech, policy, and consumer behavior
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready products and services
- Author thought leadership reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
- Design and facilitate workshops on future literacy for internal teams and clients
- Analyze disruption vectors in adjacent industries to identify first-mover advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board with quantified risk/reward models
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in AI ethics, circular economy models, or neurotechnology
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Sprints, Lean Startup)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society preferred)
- Track record of influencing organizational strategy with data-driven foresight
