Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Lead strategic innovation workshops with executive stakeholders to translate foresight into actionable roadmaps
- Architect experimental ventures in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of emerging technologies
- Publish thought leadership reports on future trends and their business implications
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with stage-gate processes
- Mentor cross-functional teams in design thinking and agile innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or future-casting projects
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience scaling innovation programs in enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive storytelling and stakeholder alignment
