Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, quantum computing) and translate insights into strategic frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026+ business environments and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-ready innovation priorities
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefs on emerging competitive landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough opportunities aligned with future consumer needs
- Monitor horizon-scan data sources (academic research, patent analytics, geopolitical indicators)
- Represent company at future-focused forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing actionable future-strategy frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to visualize complex scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (required)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Foresight Platform)
- Experience facilitating executive workshops on transformational change
