Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Produce executive-level scenario reports on technological disruptions and societal shifts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research centers for emerging technology insights
- Design and maintain a Future Impact Index to quantify strategic opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Proven track record of developing scenario-planning methodologies for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
