Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) with market needs
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with scenario planning for 3-5 year horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Advise C-suite on disruptive threats and opportunities across industries
- Design and implement innovation sprints for future-proofing product portfolios
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech or societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and disruption analysis
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term strategy
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible future-shaping initiatives
