Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal implications through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026 market disruptions across healthcare, energy, and transportation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for executive board and investor communications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies using AI-driven trend analysis
- Present visionary frameworks at global conferences (WEF, TED, Singularity Summit)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on disruptive technologies (h-index ≥15)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or space economics
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
- Fluency in strategic data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
