Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies (2026-2031) with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive trends and market inflection points
- Produce scenario analyses for quantum adoption, climate tech, and neuro-interface integration
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments in synthetic biology and decentralized systems
- Present future-state visions to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in futures/foresight roles
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field required
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or innovation strategy
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
