Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe complex medical dictation into electronic health records (EHRs)
- Edit and proofread documents for clinical accuracy, grammar, and formatting
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality protocols
- Utilize advanced transcription software and voice recognition systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining 99.5% accuracy
- Adhere to client-specific formatting guidelines and style preferences
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical transcription experience
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or RHDS credential
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology
- Minimum 95 words per minute typing speed with 99% accuracy
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Ability to manage complex medical terminology and accents
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
