Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat platforms ensuring compliance with community guidelines
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations
- Facilitate positive user interactions and resolve conflicts professionally
- Document moderation activities and generate weekly performance reports
- Collaborate with product teams to improve chat platform features
- Train new moderators on moderation protocols and tools
- Participate in cross-departmental strategy meetings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in community moderation or customer support
- Proficiency with moderation tools (e.g., ModSquad, ModTools, Discord)
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communities
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred
