Key Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network performance, and application uptime during night shifts.
- Resolve incoming technical tickets and customer inquiries efficiently and accurately.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security checks.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and nightly logs in the ticketing system.
- Escalate critical incidents to the on-call support team immediately.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of outstanding issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a Helpdesk, Technical Support, or Customer Service role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
