Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum AI frameworks
- Present findings at premier conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with physicists and AI researchers
