Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-enhanced machine learning frameworks for complex optimization problems
- Lead R&D in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum error correction protocols
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure NSF/NIH grants for quantum-AI research
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of quantum physicists and AI specialists
- Develop patents for novel quantum-AI methodologies with commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE) and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical ML libraries
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum-computational topics
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti) and error mitigation
- Demonstrated ability to secure $500K+ in research funding
