Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum-AI hybrid systems using 50+ qubit processors
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum neural networks with error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI co-design architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (with 3+ years postdoc experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum error correction techniques
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum AI
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing environments
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum neural networks
- Ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
