Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using Qiskit, Cirq, and proprietary frameworks
- Design error-corrected qubit topologies for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with cloud infrastructure (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Validate quantum solutions through rigorous simulation and hardware testing
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum principles and implementation best practices
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing projects and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical optimization
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware providers (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
