Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing prototypes
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-qubit interactions
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Drive strategic roadmaps for quantum computing applications in target industries
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience with published papers
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and Python
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Demonstrated success in translating theoretical concepts to experimental results
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
