Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science journals or top-tier conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Clearance eligibility for government-funded research projects
