- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum methodologies
- Patent novel quantum computing architectures and processes
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience securing federal grants (NSF, DARPA, DOE) or venture funding
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, photonic, ion trap)
- Strong background in machine learning integration with quantum systems
