Responsibilities
- Lead Algorithm Development: Design and implement quantum algorithms capable of solving complex optimization problems and machine learning tasks.
- Hardware-Software Co-Design: Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software stacks for emerging quantum processors and superconducting qubits.
- Simulation & Modeling: Build and refine high-fidelity simulation environments to test quantum logic before deployment on physical hardware.
- Error Correction: Develop strategies for quantum error mitigation and error correction to ensure data integrity in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices.
- Research Publication: Contribute to academic and industry publications, sharing breakthroughs with the global quantum computing community.
- Prototype Deployment: Lead the end-to-end deployment of quantum prototypes in cloud environments (AWS, IBM, Azure Quantum).
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in high-performance computing or quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA. Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in fast-paced, agile development environments.
